Terms · Version 1
Terms for using Dabbli
These terms apply when a parent or guardian creates a Dabbli account or allows a child to use the app.
Parent-controlled use
A parent or legal guardian must create and control the account, make the privacy choices and supervise the child’s use. Dabbli does not provide child accounts. The parent confirms that they have authority to make these choices for the child using the app.
What Dabbli provides
Dabbli offers parent-guided creative, thinking, exploration and learning challenges. Challenges invite effort and conversation; they are not professional educational, medical, psychological or safety advice. Parents decide whether a challenge is suitable for their child, surroundings and available materials.
Supervision and safe use
The parent remains responsible for supervision, choosing a safe place, checking materials and stopping any activity that is unsuitable. A child should not photograph or record another person without permission or use Dabbli to create unlawful, harmful or private material.
Local family data
Child work, parent reviews, scores and points remain on the iPhone and are not synchronised to Dabbli’s servers. They may be permanently lost if Dabbli is uninstalled, local family data is deleted, or the device is lost, damaged or replaced. The parent should review anything important before deletion.
Accounts and security
The parent must use an email address they control, protect access to that mailbox and device, keep the Parent PIN private, and tell Dabbli about suspected unauthorised account use. Passwords, one-time codes, PINs and recovery information must never be sent to support.
Optional usage sharing
Product analytics is optional and off unless the parent enables it. The parent may withdraw that choice later without losing normal app functionality. The Privacy Notice explains the limited information used.
Points, rewards and payments
Dabbli points are an in-app family feature. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred and do not create an obligation for Dabbli or a parent to provide money or another reward. Dabbli V1 does not sell subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Content and acceptable use
Dabbli’s app, challenge catalogue, branding and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Families receive a personal, limited and non-transferable right to use the app as provided. Do not interfere with security, scrape or redistribute the challenge catalogue, attempt unauthorised access, or use the service unlawfully.
Availability and changes
Dabbli may maintain, improve, change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service. Reasonable care is taken to preserve compatible local data during supported updates, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be promised. Important changes that affect parent choices will be explained appropriately.
Ending use and account deletion
A parent can stop using Dabbli, delete local family data and initiate deletion of the parent account through the app. Dabbli may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or serious misuse, while respecting applicable consumer and privacy rights.
Responsibility and applicable law
Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, Dabbli is provided without additional warranties. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Mandatory consumer protections and the jurisdiction of competent courts remain unaffected.
Contact and changes
Questions can be sent to dabbli.support@gmail.com. Material changes will be communicated appropriately and, where needed, require renewed parent acknowledgement.
